Pure Visibility is looking for a curious and enthusiastic Senior Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will join and expand our existing and successful SEO practice for international clients in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) lead generation settings. This position reports to Pure Visibility’s SEO Manager.

Responsibilities:

Candidates for this position will be expected to:

• Plan and execute a full spectrum of SEO activities for our clients, including keyword research, site audits, page- and site-level optimization, content strategy, linkbuilding strategy, competitive assessment and technical troubleshooting;
• Work with sales and project management to scope/estimate SEO engagements for prospective clients;
• Engage in thought leadership activities such as blogging, writing for industry journals, speaking at conferences, etc.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should be able to:

• Communicate complex SEO strategies to a wide range of stakeholders;
• Measure the success of SEO campaigns use of web analytics and SEO campaign management tools;
• Analyze large amounts of data from a variety of sources;
• Prepare executive-ready reporting of SEO campaign performance.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• 5+ years of relevant SEO experience, OR significant marketing consulting experience and some SEO experience;
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, FLASH, AJAX, and CSS as they relate to SEO;
• Substantial experience with the web development process;
• Sound technical understanding of how search engines, web servers and user agents work;
• Comfort working with content management systems;
• Experience using SEO campaign management software (such as BrightEdge and SEOmoz, both of which we use for our clients);
• A track record of successful SEO program execution in both B2B and B2C settings, particularly with a lead generation focus;
• Up-to-date understanding of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes, the latest tools and technologies;
• Excellent presentation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A bachelors degree;
• Foreign language skills and the ability to market on international search engines, such as Baidu, is a bonus.
