Pure Visibility Recognized for Exemplary Workplace Practices

Receives prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility

Ann Arbor, Mich., August 14, 2013 – Pure Visibility has been honored with the 2013 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility for its use of flexibility and other aspects of workplace effectiveness as a workplace strategy to increase business and employee success.

This prestigious award, part of the national When Work Works project administered by Families and Work Institute (FWI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), recognizes employers of all sizes and types in Michigan and across the country.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our workplace practices,” said Linda Girard, CEO of Pure Visibility. “Allowing employees to work remotely and take flexible time off has led to great employee retention and productivity at the same time.”

Workplace flexibility — such as flextime, part-time work and compressed workweeks — has been demonstrated to help businesses remain competitive while also benefiting employees. Flexibility in combination with other aspects of an effective workplace—such as learning opportunities and supervisor support for job success—can have a powerful impact on employee engagement and motivation.

“Our research consistently finds that employees in effective and flexible workplaces have greater engagement on the job and greater desire to stay with their organization. In addition, they report lower stress levels and better overall health,” said Ellen Galinsky, FWI president.

The Sloan Awards are unique for their rigorous, two-step selection process, which involves an evaluation of employers’ flexibility programs and practices, and a confidential employee survey on the key ingredients of an effective and flexible workplace. All applicants are measured against national norms from the National Study of Employers.

“As a recipient of the 2013 Sloan Award, Pure Visibility ranks among the top 20% of employers nationally in terms of its programs, policies and culture for creating an effective and flexible workplace,” Galinsky said. “In addition, what makes this honor so special is that their employees have corroborated this, affirming that it is indeed an effective and flexible workplace.”

When Work Works is a national project to educate the business community on the value of workplace flexibility by sharing research and promising practices, and conducting the annual Sloan Awards. It is an ongoing initiative of FWI and SHRM.

Heinz Foodservice Extends Partnership with Pure Visibility

Seeks to Build Upon Initial Success of PPC Campaigns

Ann Arbor, Mich., July 31, 2013 – Heinz Foodservice just signed their second contract extension with Pure Visibility following the business growth that resulted from recommended pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.

“Getting more qualified leads thanks to our PPC campaigns with Pure Visibility has been one of our biggest successes to date.” That’s according to Josie Cellone, the Digital Marketing Manager for Heinz Foodservice.

Heinz and Pure Visibility partnered together in November 2012 following a new site launch for the brand. Pure Visibility performed a tech assessment and keyword research in order to provide recommendations for site optimization as well as an ongoing PPC campaign. Pure Visibility also configured Google Analytics to give the team better insight into traffic coming to the site.

As a result, Heinz Foodservice has been better able to reach its target market: restaurant and foodservice owners and operators. Targeting and attracting this B2B market was proving challenging before Pure Visibility’s keyword research helped guide the PPC campaign. After implementing the campaign, the conversion rate increased by more than 100% while the cost per conversion dropped.

“We view Pure Visibility more as a partner than a vendor,” Cellone said. “They’re great teachers and constantly engaged in learning about our business and refining their efforts as a result.”

Moving forward, the team will be looking to include more Heinz brands and more social search opportunities to expand their share of the search market.

Pure Visibility Expanding Team, Looking to Hire

New Hires Join the Fun at Integrated Digital Marketing Agency

Ann Arbor, Mich., July 24, 2013 – Integrated digital marketing leader Pure Visibility is thrilled to announce the hiring of three new employees for key roles.

Todd Hall is taking the helm as VP of Sales and Business Development. Todd joins the team from Cleveland, Ohio, and brings with him more than 15 years of digital marketing experience. Todd’s previous roles include Director of e-commerce for ACOR, e-commerce Marketing Manager with Hoover/Dirt Devil and Media and Business Development Director at Rosetta.

“I’m very excited to build Pure Visibility’s relationships with new and prospective clients,” Todd said. “Our team brings a mastery of integrated digital marketing and incredible passion to the market. I look forward to continuing the growth and success of the agency.”

Shamir Ozery is also joining the team as Lead Account Manager. Shamir comes to Pure Visibility with a background in project and account management, product development, and business development. In addition, Shamir has spent his career working overseas in both Israel and China.

“Shamir is a dynamic addition to our Client Services & Account Management Team. His core skills and drive will be wonderful assets moving forward,” COO Dunrie Greiling said of the hire. Shamir brings a wealth of knowledge from past agency work, including McCann-Erickson.

Finally, Robbie Bolog is the newest Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Strategist. An alumnus of EMU’s paid search practicum program, he is focused on bringing a creative, human element to the data-driven world of paid search. Outside of PV, Robbie spends his time playing music, traveling, and managing his band, Captain Ivory.
